Starting #ThePUSH2017 is hands down one of the most exciting (if daunting!) things I’ve ever done. That said, I cannot wait to see where weight loss journey goes!


At first I just wanted to slim up a bit so I could eat more pizza... But I’m here to build a stronger, healthier, more confident me. Although, still with occasional pizza.

Taylor Daniels of 101.5 KooL FM, a returning member of the PUSH and Bryanne, a first time PUSHer are looking to challenge not only themselves but eachother as they work with their trainer Ash ahead of their wedding this summer!


Taylor has grown up on the baseball field, and has attacked fitness thru sports and recreation. If he thought last years PUSH Challenge was tough..have we got some suprises for him!


On the flip side, Bryanne has grown up making the world her playground, spending time achieving fitness thru rock climbing, hiking, the outdoors and running. She is looking forward to getting a custom workout plan that she can take with her everywhere she goes. Fitness is not only achieved inside four walls, but wherever you go there is a chance to lead a healthier active lifestyle. 


Together with their trainer Ash, they have set team goals, and individual goals.


They both make the most of their time together and take part in activities year-round making the most of the diverse seasons Alberta offers!


They are looking forward to bringing you along with them on this journey, both inside and outside of Repsol Sport Centre. You can follow along with their #PUSHmedowntheaisle adventures online.

Bo & Jess

Former participants and WINNER of #ThePUSH2016 / Best Friends

When Bo and Jess  joined #ThePUSH2016, they were colleagues but by the time it concluded 3 months later - they were best friends. 
THE PUSH was more than just a program for us: It brought us together as friends; it instilled a fitness as a foundation to our lifestyles; it gave us the support and drive we needed for major life accomplishments (first 10k race, summit of Mt Temple, a wedding, new jobs); and it brought so much FUN to our lives.  THE PUSH is not just about pushing it during the hours at the gym - it's working all day every day to create a lifestyle that keeps us healthy and happy and loving EVERY moment!
When #ThePUSH2017 came along, there wasn't a doubt in our minds about wanting to do it again (except for our fierce dislike of the rower).  As we continue on our PUSH journey – which now includes a pregnancy for 2016 PUSH champion (@bodilibod) – fitness and health are more important than ever! Team Bo and Jess are working hard with our amazing trainer Anna Iskra and we can’t wait to see how THE PUSH 2017 turns out!

Your strongest year starts right here with ThePUSH2017 Challenge. No matter what your fitness level, joining this 90-day Challenge is the first step towards achieving your fitness goals and realizing success.  

January 9 - April 9, 2017

You can join the Challenge by yourself, with a friend or a group of 4 for a little extra motivation. Now that you are ready for change let’s get down to the details of the Challenge. 


  • 2 Personal Training sessions per week (total of 24 sessions).
    You will be assigned to work with one of  our expert Personal Trainers based on your goals and availability.  
  • 6 Nutrition Seminars with Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant™, Jessi Hoey
    • FAD DIETS - January 11 at 5:45pm-6:45pm
    • MEAL PREP 101 – January 17 at 5:30pm-6:30pm
    • GROCERY SHOPPING TOUR with Jessi Hoey – January 21 at 10:00am - 11:00am
    • FOOD MAINTENANCE TO SUPPORT A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE – February 21 at 5:30pm-6:30pm
    • HEART IN MIND - February 22 at 5:45pm-6:45pm
    • CHILLOUT - March 22 at 5:45pm-6:45pm
  • Before & After Fitness Testing
    You will be tested at the beginning to set the benchmark and again at the end to see how far you’ve come! The participant with the most measurable results will win some amazing prizes! Tests include:
    • Upper Body Strength (battle ropes)
    • Lower Body Strength (squat jumps)
    • Core (plank)
    • Push/Pull (tire flip)
    • Agility
    • 3 km Run or Bike
      • Start of program: January 7 and 8 at 8:00am-9:00am.
      • End of program: April 15 and 16 at 8:00am -9:00am
